Foosball 2012: The Classic Game Rolls Onto PSN This Spring
Well, sure, everybody knows what it is. But how often have you played it on a video screen...? Oh, never?
Welcome Foosball 2012, recently revealed at the PlayStation Blog. It's coming to both the PlayStation 3 and Vita, and it'll feature multiple game modes, different kinds of tables (both American and European), and even various ball types and trick shots.
There's a World Tour single-player mode that lets you crisscross the globe and challenge AI opponents in nearly 30 locations. But of course, there will also be a multiplayer component (online and offline) that supports up to four players. Lastly, if you've got the PlayStation Move, you can use it with this game, which ought to be plenty interesting... Let's just hope it's precise!
Foosball 2012 will be a downloadable offering on the PlayStation Store and will include the Cross Play feature, so if you're on the PS3, you'll be able to play someone using the Vita (and vicey versey). The game will even automatically synchronize your save data between both versions.
Check it out:
Oh, and did we mention: if you purchase the PS3 version of the game on either platform, you'll be able to play on both the PS3 and Vita for free. Yep, no charge, and that applies to any DLC, too. The game will be set to go this spring.

Until virtual reality actually feels like reality, I can't see spending money to play casual physical games (don't know how else to describe em) like table tennis, foosball, pinball etc. on my playstation.
But I guess there must be a market for it!

Might even bust out those Move controllers that have just been gathering dust lately.
