Atlus Reveals Remastered Persona 4 Golden For Vita
The PSP is a great system for RPG fanatics, so it makes perfect sense to bring that same role-playing support to the new PlayStation Vita.
Atlus has announced Persona 4 Golden, a remastered version of the critically acclaimed Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 for Sony's new portable; it'll launch in North America this fall.
Citing an overall Metacritic score of 90 and a bunch of awards from various sources, Atlus maintains that Persona 4 is "one of the finest games ever made," as it provides gamers with a great story, engaging combat, and the depth and micromanagement that RPG fans adore. Now, the second-highest rated PSP title ever will be expanded upon: The graphics have been overhauled to take advantage of the Vita's brilliant 5" OLED display, there's 1.5 times the voiced dialogue, and we'll even get a new online dungeon rescue feature that lets players call on other players for assistance when the chips are down.
Atlus will even pack it with a bunch of new content, such as new Personas to find, new story events, and a host of "fan suggested tweaks and changes." As the press release says-
"Persona 4 Golden is far more than just a handheld version of an all-time classic: it's the best way to experience it yet!
