E3 2012: Assassin's Creed: Liberation And A New Vita Bundle

Vita owners, unite!

Assassin's Creed III is one of the most anticipated games of the year, but PlayStation fans are getting special treatment.

Just revealed during Sony's E3 press conference is Assassin's Creed: Liberation for the PlayStation Vita, a title "built from the ground up" for Sony's new portable, and it will even link up with the PS3 version of ACIII. With Liberation, you can unlock a variety of goodies for ACIII on the PS3, and that includes a weapon for Connor, a multiplayer skin, and more.

On top of which, Sony will release a new Vita bundle to celebrate Liberation; it will feature a 4GB memory card and a super sleek Ceramic White Vita, which looks absolutely sweet. They followed this up with new footage of ACIII; the gameplay boasted action on the high seas, and it's enough to get our heart pumping. Just make sure you understand how a big ol' boat moves! This is freakin' intense.

Never been into the AC franchise but the trailer they showed had some of the best water/ship effects I've ever seen.

Limited.. I was under the impression that the ship content is exclusive to the PS3. Hopefully at least timed. Or was it just skins and stuff? Not that matters to me much i'm picking them both up either way.

I'm really excited about both ACIII games, and that vita looked sweet.

I really need to start AC: Brotherhood and get back on track with my assassinations.

Pretty cool of ubisoft to have a different AC game on ps vita and not a port. This well help sales.

I am disappointed with how Sony talked up their partnership with Ubisoft, yet there was no mention of a special bundle of both games for a reduced price like MLB The Show 12. Oh well, one can still hope.

whats the point of just the WIFI version?
come on $ony this is a collectors edition, whole point of collectors is to be the best of the best!
oh well, hope they start releasing these separately soon.
so disappointed we did not see any gameplay footage for either this or COD though!
come on $ony, these are the only big exclusive games coming to the vita this year we need to see some gameplay!

I'm going to have to buy both of these games day 1. That naval battle looks awesome! Not regretting my Vita purchase for one second. Sure that white one is slick looking, but I'm partial to that polished playstation black.

AClll games almost stole the show so far. Gameplay for AClll was insane.

Liberation has got me hugely excited almost solely on the fact it has a female lead, i want games to do that more often and without the OTT sex appeal. Sorta like Beyond's lead.
