Call Of Duty Black Ops: Declassified Boasts "Original Fiction"
Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified was officially unveiled at Sony's E3 press conference, but we didn't receive many specific details.
Now, however, thanks to several major retailers including GameStop, we've got some baseline information on the anticipated portable title; we can expect a new story ("original fiction" is mentioned) and some sort of historical setting. Check it out:
"Before the future could be won, history had to be written. Exposing that story exclusively on PlayStation® Vita, Call of Duty®: Black Ops Declassified explores original fiction in the Call of Duty® Black Ops universe with an all-new campaign of Special Ops missions. Optimized for gamers on-the-go, Call of Duty® Black Ops: Declassified delivers the most intense handheld Call of Duty® experience to date, including both Special Ops Story mode and Multiplayer combat tailored for the PS Vita."
We're still not sure about the developer, but we know it'll retail for $49.99. So far, the only other Vita title to hit that high price point was the well-received Uncharted: Golden Abyss. But nobody is all that surprised to see the $50 price tag for Declassified, are they? I mean, it's Activision...oh all right, that was a cheap shot.
