Assassin's Creed III: Liberation Extended Trailer Surfaces
Assassin's Creed III isn't the only potentially awesome game that comes out on October 30.
There's another AC title, a standalone adventure that acts as the perfect complement to the PS3/360 iterations: It's Assassin's Creed III: Liberation for the PlayStation Vita, which was officially unveiled at E3 this year and features a new protagonist, new setting, and new story (that ties in with ACIII).
We get another great look at it with a fresh Extended Trailer, which shows off Aveline's many capabilities. She's a full-fledged assassin, capable of taking on groups of enemies, scaling buildings with ease, and even performing that trademark swan dive into bales of hay from a gazillion feet up. This is probably one of the biggest reasons to own a Vita.

if you cant be bothered finishing revelations at least go look up the ending online!
its actually 1 thing that makes me really confused why AC3 is how it is, and why were not playing as desmond.
only reason the animus has been used is to train him and find the locations they need.
plus they have said multiple times that this will contain allot more sequences playing as desmond than the previous games have.

Desmond's story will end in AC:3. The reason for this is because the main plot of AC for the last 4 games has centered around an event that is meant to happen at the end of 2012. Hence why that storyline is finishing at the end of 2012, which also means Desmonds story ends.
The character in AC:Liberation is not Desmond, it is another female character. My guess is that it is the other female that Desmond is supposed to "be with".
Ubi has told us that you will spend more time in the present day than in previous games.
I don't think they will do a current day AC, if they do that, what reason could they give us to justify going back to the past again?

still far too early to say we have not seen any gameplay yet, but from what little we have seen this looks very similar to AC3.
whats the point of going to all the effort of creating a new game when its so similar to its big brother?
i was really hoping this would be like AC bloodlines, a completely different game to AC2!

Just thought of this. If Desmond will be the one revisiting his past in the Animus, I wonder how he will react to being in a female body. All of the AC games had sex or at least implied. This may be quite a conundrum.
