Plus Service Hitting Vita In November
It's almost time to bring the great benefits of Plus to the handheld on-the-go universe.
Along with announcing the new PlayStation 3 models, Sony has another piece of good news: PlayStation Pluls will be available for the PlayStation Vita in November 2012.
It'll work as you would expect; Vita owners can subscribe to Plus and get free games, discounts, and other goodies and preferential treatment, such as early entry into beta tests. They say "a variety of convenient Plus subscription options will be available in each country and region," and that includes a 30-day plan for Japan and Asia, a 90-day plan for North America and Europe (coming in at $17.99), and a yearly, 365-day plan for all four territories ($49.99 for North America). If you've already got a Plus membership, you're good to go; no extra charge for the Vita.
Most will tell you that Plus is a darn good deal and if you've got both the PS3 and Vita...it could be double the good deal.
