Rainbow Moon Graces Vita In 2013
Rainbow Moon is one of the best downloadable games of the year, and that goes triple if you're an old-school RPG fan.
Such a game lends itself well to the portable world, so it's great to ear that Eastasiasoft plans to bring the colorful and addictive mix of role-playing and strategy to the PlayStation Vita.
The Hong Kong developer announced today that Rainbow Moon is headed to Sony's handheld in 2013. Unfortunately, there is no solidified release date as of yet, but it's enough to know it's coming, right? Said SideQuest Studios CEO Marcus Pukropski:
"We've been asked this question many times, so I'm very happy to finally announce that we will bring Rainbow Moon to the PSŪVita. All the feedback that we have received for Rainbow Moon during the last few months has been tremendous, and I hope that today's announcement will make a lot of PSŪVita owners and Rainbow Moon fans happy."
Rainbow Moon is just one of those games that's extremely difficult to stop playing. It's not so much the story, but that irrepressible urge to get stronger, explore more places, and gather more loot, all amid a classic setting. So freakin' grand, I say.

"Unfortunately, EastAsiaSoft wasn't able to provide exact sales numbers for Rainbow Moon on PS3 that may have also influenced the port, though Ngai notes that they 'are happy with how Rainbow Moon is performing on the PlayStation Network.' It was the second best-selling game on PSN in July."

Once you get past the doldrums of the early going, this game really shines IMHO

I was really hoping they'd make it compatible with remote play but I guess that's not gonna happen now :(
P.S. Ben: Sorry for being Mr. annoying guy about this on that other article, I should've known you were on it...
