Vita Update 2.00 Turns System's Browser Into A "Small App"
We know that firmware update 2.00 for the PlayStation Vita delivers the premium PlayStation Plus subscription option, which is great.
But it also offers a dash extra, as revealed by Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida, who we typically like to follow on Twitter.
Not only do we get Plus, but we also get a faster web browser, which is now usable in-game. Essentially, as Yoshida explains it, the browser becomes a "small app," which means you can access it without exiting out of a game. This is especially useful if you need to reference one of those digital walkthroughs, and Vita owners should find this upgrade highly useful. Of course, the addition of the Instant Game Collection probably takes priority, especially because Sony has quite a few Vita titles all ready to go. Some great titles can be had!
Future improvements are inevitable; we're just hoping that such updates will continue to make the Vita more attractive in the eyes of prospective owners. It's already pretty attractive, though...

ill say it again, for the hard of hearing.
LIKE THE PSP GO HAD!
christ, do i have to explain EVERYTHING down to a kindergartener level?
fine, the PSP GO you see was a revised device $ony released to update the PSP line, it was much smaller than the 3000 revision and had no drive.
due to that they were able to fit into a smaller form factor and added a sliding screen.
also added a few new nifty features, one in particular was the "pause game" option.
this would let you pause the game, go back to the XMB and start another game or application.
once your done with that application you can go back to the menu and continue where you were left off with the original game.
simplified enough for ya?
