Sony To Release New Vita Plus Bundle Next Week For $299
The PSP can now be had for only $99. But that doesn't mean you can't find great PlayStation Vita deals.
To celebrate the launch of the PlayStation Plus subscription for Sony's new handheld, they're releasing a new Vita bundle next week.
Plus brings the Instant Game Collection and all the benefits of membership (early access to betas and demos, discounts, cloud storage, etc.), and this package also boasts a voucher for Unit 13, a 4GB Memory Card, and of course, a 3G/Wi-Fi Vita system. The included Plus subscription is for the standard one-year term. The price? Only $299.99, which represents a big $100 savings.
So far, the Instant Game Collection features six Vita titles, including Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush, and WipEout 2048, and more are coming your way soon. If you have a PS3, you'll also automatically unlock no less than a dozen hit games, with names like inFamous 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, and Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One. These come to you at no additional charge. If you're already a Plus member, this bundle still works for you, as the 1-year subscription is added on top of your current subscription.

Vita is a great machine and a lot of these bundles the past few months have been tempting. But if you are to take advantage of Plus (and you should) you will def need the 32 GB Memory card. Extra $100 on top of everything else. Hard pill to swallow. I wish Sony would either drop the price of those things, or create 2 seperate bundles, one with a 4GB card and one with a 32 GB card. Ditch the whole 3G thing while they're at it.
I eventually plan on picking up a Vita but it'll be after the price drops. And sometime when I don't have too many other games to play.

Sony needs to stop with these stupid bundles, and just lower the price of memory...

If the AC Vita weren't white, I'd get that one, but I like the option of having 3G just in case I ever need it and the "beginner's" memory stick saves me from needing to buy a larger stick immediately...hopefully, the price on the 32 gig stick will drop before too long.

I jumped on Amazon's $179 deal for the Assassin's Creed bundle with PS All Stars, that was the price point I couldn't say no to.
They need to work on getting bundles or even just the base unit to $199. Not charging $299 and throwing in a bunch of extras people may or may not want.
I'd be happier having paid $20 less for my bundle if they didn't include the 4GB memory card that I already need to replace because Uncharted pretty much completely fills it.
