LEGO: Legends Of Chima Offers "Three Gameplay Experiences"

Over the years, the LEGO games have tackled just about every major film franchise in existence, including "Star Wars," "Indiana Jones," "Batman," and the recently released "Lord of the Rings" adaptation.

Now it's time for...LEGO: Legends of Chima? No, there's no reason you should've heard of it; it's the new three-in-one LEGO installment from developer TT Games. The press release claims this ambitious title offers "three gameplay experiences, offering something for all types of LEGO gamers."

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment describes each quest in the game, saying each is "an entirely unique and exciting adventure that builds to the next experience and complements the just announced LEGO Legends of Chima universe of products." So basically, this isn't based on a movie series; it's revolving around new LEGO toys, which of course include construction sets, vehicles, TV content and more. Legends of Chima will be a fantasy adventure in which different magical animal tribes wander about, and there are multiple stories of "evil, friendship and family."

Said WBIE Senior Vice President Samantha Ryan:

"We are doing something innovative with LEGO Legends of Chima™ by making three distinct videogame experiences on a variety of platforms. By creating multiple LEGO videogame experiences for one brand, we are catering to today's diverse gaming community, as well as establish a rewards system for players of all three games."

LEGO: Legends of China will be available for the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS this summer.
