Tearaway Delayed A Month

Awww...this has to be my most anticipated PlayStation Vita game, too.

It has been revealed over at the PlayStation Blog that Media Molecule's promising new portable title, Tearaway, has been delayed.

But don't worry, you won't have to wait much longer. It was originally supposed to be available on October 22; now it's set for November 22, so an extra month won't kill you. Studio director Siobhan Reddy said they simply need a bit more time:

"We are now in the final stages of development, and have come to the realization that we need a little more time than we anticipated to finish the game; to tie all of the mechanics, story and amazing visuals together into the adventure that we want you to play."

Reddy added that the team is "really, really sorry" and he thanks the fans for being patient. Tearaway is an innovative platformer that features an entire world - including the characters - that is constructed of paper. To learn more, check out our recent preview. It looks potentially fantastic and besides, anybody who makes LittleBigPlanet should be given some leeway, right? They'll produce something great, you'll see.

No worries MM. It's only a month and you've got a proven track record of awesome.

worst part of delays, you have no way of knowing if it was worth the extra wait or not.
oh well hopefully it will be, and tearaway will release a polished T.
NOTHING worse than a game thats been delayed so much, and still releases a buggy unfinished mess!
hopefully this turns out well, the original LBP was so much fun!
the sequel, well, dont get me started.
when you have a PSP game better than a ps3 game, you know your in trouble!
funny how the portable itterations have been pure gold, while on home consoles the LBP franchise has been hit or miss.
i guess thats what happens when you farm the franchise out.
looking at you LBP karting, oh god what a atrocity that was!
