Killzone: Shadow Fall Seems To Run Just Fine On The Vita

Ever wonder what Killzone: Shadow Fall will look like running on the PlayStation Vita?

Okay, so this video doesn't offer the perfect perspective, but at least it gives you an idea.

As you probably know, Remote Play is the feature that allows PS4 games to be played on the Vita while on the go. Shadow Fall supports it, as will most other games slated for Sony's new console. It's a great incentive to be a Vita owner.

What's most important about this demonstration is that we're not really seeing any lag, slowdown or other performance issues when the new Killzone is running on the Vita. The video was posted by Guerrilla game director Steven ter Heide, and that's boss man Hermen Hulst playing the game. Remember, Remote Play must be activated via day-one system software update for the PS4. After that, it's time to test things out! Never stop gamin', even when you're traveling.

The PlayStation 4 will hit store shelves on November 15 in North America, which is exactly one week from today...

Cool, but since you have to be home and near the console to have no lag it's probably best to just play it on the big screen

I'm excited. My ps4 will be hooked up in my room but with the vita I can go hang out in the living room or even move rooms on the fly.

This is why they really need to get serious and release the Vita TV world wide. That way the main tv can be used by whomever and the person that wants to play can still play on a decent size screen with a regular controller.

Actually, I can see the households with this type of setup (PS4 in family room with Vita TV setup in basement or rec room) possibly embracing PS Store game downloads.

Yeah Simcoe, I think it would help sales of everything overall.

It's surprisingly great to take the game you've been playing to another room. When the weather's nice I love heading out to the balcony with my Wii U gamepad, for example. It's also great to take to bed! And as someone who's co-habitating with a significant other, it's especially great to share the big screen while I get to keep on playing :) I for one am VERY excited about this feature. I just hope my spotty-at-best wifi is up to the challenge...

I think we'll see very quickly next weekend how well PS4 games can be streamed to the PSV. I think those that will experience the most problems will be in highly connected households with two or three teenage kids, where everyone might accessing the internet at the same time (Netflix, music streaming, downloading, video chats)!

Ok, the pedantic side of me just *have* to point out that Killzone does not "run just fine on the Vita" - it runs on the PS4, it's only streamed to the Vita, just like it theoretically could have been streamed to a browser or a mobile phone.

Yeah I know, pedantic, nitpicking, annoying even. But I just can't help myself. :)
