Sony Boss: Borderlands 2 On Vita Is Like, Really Good
It's the game that will debut with the freshly overhauled PlayStation Vita 2000 model.
So, does it have the chops for such a task? It was an award-winner on consoles, but can Borderlands 2 really thrive on a portable device?
Apparently it can.
PlayStation vice president of publisher and developer relations Adam Boyes says the Vita version of the super popular sequel is very good on Sony's handheld. As he said on Twitter:
"I was playing a ton of Borderlands 2 Vita this week. SO GOOD."
He didn't give us an exact release date for that awesome Vita bundle, though. All we know is that it will launch in the US this spring with a price tag of $199. It will include the new system (lighter and thinner, with a new LCD screen), an 8GB memory card, and a copy of Borderlands 2, which also includes all the available DLC. The game is a collaborative effort between Sony, 2K, and Iron Galaxy Studios (Divekick).
Here's hoping it turns out as well as Boyes claims!
