Rumor: Ratchet & Clank Trilogy Headed To PlayStation Vita

Hey now, this would be worth owning for the PlayStation Vita!

It seems UK retailer ShopTo may have spilled the beans on an upcoming Ratchet & Clank handheld collection. The page in question is gone now, but CVG spotted it before it disappeared.

It's a listing for a Ratchet & Clank Trilogy, which would include the first three games of the acclaimed franchise, all of which originally launched on the PS2: Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal. Obviously, all three would be displayed in vivid high-definition on Sony's portable. A similar collection is already available on the PS3; it hit store shelves back in 2012, and it was a great addition to the PS3 library.

If that ShopTo listing is accurate, the Trilogy will come to the Vita in the UK region on June 20. Sony hasn't announced anything just yet, but they probably will soon.

This is why we don't have brand new games for any system. Sony just keeps rehashing the old games from system to system, then they HD remake them, then reboot em. Then ANY game that comes out, say like the recent Infamous for ps4, seems like a 10 out of 10 star game because nothing else has come out.

Nice system you got there Sony. You are making Nintendo look fantastic.

Not entirely accurate, there were 4 new vita games announced this week, 7 the previous, so on and so forth that were new games, not re-releases.

OT for a sec....

Yor you guys who have been inquiring about the Vita's Borderlands 2 Limited Edition bundle, it will be coming out this May 6th.

Or you can just buy the game separately both digitally or at retailers on May 13th.

really dont understand why this was not done much earlier, i mean we have had so many other remakes make the switch so why so late?
R&C would be the perfect fit for the vita!
and since were never going to see a new game again, might as well port over the best 3 of what actually exist.
especially up your arsenal, i remember spending literally weeks collecting all the sewer crystals so i could afford the RYNO, and when i finally did, i was like a kid on christmass morning, so excited!
and then i did it all again when the HD collection came out so i could get the plat, and id happily do it again!
