Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Will Have Vita-Specific Features
Hey, don't forget that one of the best high-definition collections of the generation is headed to the PlayStation Vita.
It's the fabulous Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, and Hideo Kojima has provided gamers with a few new screenshots and fresh details.
There will be new features exclusive to Sony's portable, and that includes rear touch pad controls. Basically, it can be used to knife your enemies; the translation reads- "If you flick the touch pad back, it is possible to write off the throat of the enemy with a knife." Yeah, it's rough but you get the point. The rear pad can also be used in first-person to stretch the view, and you might even be able to zoom in and out, too.
We just hope all these fancy control schemes work out well. Whenever you've got a multitude of options for control, developers sometimes want to use them all...to the detriment of game flow. But we imagine Kojima and Co. know exactly what they're doing, so we're not worried.

but I agree that control in MGS2 and 3 are awkward especially when you need to take a peep of the surroundings, then again at the time it was made on ps2, they were so epic and without that comparison, these drawbacks were not that much annoying then.
